Job summary: The person will be responsible for the execution of ESAP 3 program along with addressing the long-term designated goals and objectives of Addis Development Vision (ADV), and, its donors, and the target population.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, co-ordinates, and controls all the activities, resources and assets of the project
- Develops strategies to ensure better project performance
- Monitors and documents project results, implementation lessons, best practices and innovations of the project project; and ensure that such information is communicated to all relevant bodies of ADV and partners
- Prepares annual and quarterly project Program Operation Plan (POP) based on approved Detailed Implementation Plan
- Prepares and compiles annual plans, budgets, quarterly and annual reports for EAC project based on partners and donors requirement
- Manages budgets, including phasing of budgets as per work plans, monthly review of spend reports, identification of errors and required actions to address them
- Ensures the involvement of Citizens as primary stakeholders
- Maintains regular communication and interaction with stakeholders to facilitate and promote learning
- Creates and maintains strong partnership and networking with pertinent co-implementers local government organizations, partners and community based organizations
- Ensures proper documentation of experience, lessons and innovations (including pictures and video documentation) in the course of project implementation
- Organizes and properly maintains database and information related to the program
- Participates and represents ADV at related plat forms
Job Requirements
Qualifications and requirements:
- At least first degree in social works, education and related fields
- Proven experience in human right works
- Experience in project planning and implementation and reporting
- Experience in organizing and facilitating trainings
- Experience in working with government partners and social mobilization
- At least three years of experience in development work of which 1 year should be in the context of children education
- Budget development and management skills, team building
- Experience of independent working and innovative approaches
- Excellent spoken and written Amharic and English languages
- Competency in application of computer software’ (especially MS-Word, MS-Excel and Access and ICT.
