Job Summary

The Woreda SA project coordinator under the general directives and strategic directions of the project will be responsible for monitoring, coordinate, and supervise the day – to- day operation of the project and share information on the performance of the project

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, control, and supervise the SA activities including training and capacity building at their project site,
  • Ensure ADV’s Nurture Protection of Basic Services among Citizens (Social Accountability) project activities are accomplished according to the plan at the community level,
  • Compile beneficiaries related documents, 
  • Compile need assessment and data of target population,
  • Provide appropriate support services to the project users,
  • Liaise with government offices at their level and network with NGOs in their working areas,
  • Monitor and coordinate the overall operations of the project and share information on the performance of the project,
  • Follow up and monitor successful implementation of the project activities,
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on achievements and changes of project with proposed solutions,
  • Assess and evaluate the plan of the project and initiate or review same if deemed necessary,
  • Follow up and monitor successful implementation of project activities,
  • Document all project activities accomplished at their project site,
  • Capacity building of the project users and service providers,
  • Select CBO volunteers with the consultation of the service users,

III. Job Requirements

Qualifications and requirements:

  • College education in social work and related fields
  • Experience in Social work projects
  • Knowledge and experience of Human rights
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Strong motivation to promote Basic social services.
  • Ability to work with divers groups of people
